Metalor bar manufacturing dates back formally to 1918 when Swiss Bank Corporation acquired the Bank of Le Locle, in Switzerland. Since then, our investment products are manufactured in conformity with renowned Swiss excellence.

Today, our fine gold 400 ozt bars, 1 kg bars, grains, and other bullion products, Ag, Pt, and Pd are produced at our LBMA and/or LPPM accredited sites in Switzerland, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, and China.

Our assayer hallmark is the quality guarantee for our products, which are distributed and recognized in all major financial markets.

We offer a wide range of elegant and fine gold Minted Bars from 1 g up to 100 g.

For some minted bars above 20 g, a unique DataMatrix code and serial number are generated and engraved upon the bar surface using laser technology.

Bar owners can scan that code with a smartphone and a standard reader application (for example i-nigma, available both on iOS and Android – it often works better if a picture is first taken and then magnified). Automatic redirection to a specific web page with information on the product will take place. A comparison of the serial number on the package and the one given on that web page will confirm that the product is genuine.

Bars are sealed inside a credit-card sized blister, including the certificate of authenticity. Stamping may be personalized with logos or other means. Customization of the certificate is possible under special conditions.
