We have developed a solution to reduce the amount of silver in fuse strips by 80% by alternating copper and silver zones. Previously, these bands were 100% pure silver. During a short circuit, the silver zone melts, cutting off the flow of electricity and protecting the system.
The complete range of products, from 1 to 6 tracks, ranges from a minimum thickness of 65 µm to a maximum width of 115 mm.
With decades of experience, we have full mastery of the entire process, from the manufacture of silver profile, scalping, and heat treatment to rolling of precise thicknesses. Determined to maintain cutting-edge quality, we have recently invested considerable sums in state-of-the-art production and control equipment.
As the final product is a critical device in safety applications, we implemented rigorous controls to ensure compliance to specifications.
