Metalor welcomes Philippe Royer as the new Group CEO
Neuchâtel (Switzerland) – July 10, 2014
The Board of Directors of Metalor, the leading worldwide precious-metals refiner based in Neuchâtel (Switzerland), has appointed Philippe Royer, 52, French citizen, as the new CEO of the Group.
Philippe Royer has spent more than 20 years in the metal processing industry in operational positions, both in corporate and private equity environments, as Managing Director (Eurofoil), Business Unit President (VAW, Alcoa) and most recently during six years as Chairman and CEO of Manoir Industries, a leading supplier to the aerospace, petrochemical and energy markets.
He has been operating in Europe, North-America and Asia, and has successfully implemented several growth business plans, both organically through operational excellence and innovation, and externally through mergers and acquisitions.
In this role, Philippe Royer will replace Hubert Angleys, who has worked for Metalor for two and a half years, first as CFO, then as CEO of the Group.
